I had a lorex mc6945 ripped off its wall mount,wires torn.

My problem is now i have 5 wires exposed and no clue to fix

I have 2 red,2 black and 1 yellow.

Im guessing..yellow for vid,1 red for power ,2grnd wires,1 for the vid an

1for the power/ ..pos + / neg -....

Probliem is i'm only guessing an dont want to short it out ...

Please help

The power is the only part you would damage something. You will need a multi-meter to test for power. the red and black are most likely positive and negative. If those cables are PNP and they ripped the ends off they will need to be replaced. You can't crimp new connectors on the cable type. If you have coax you can.

Thanks Danial,what i didnt mention was that where the wires were

Torn apart,wires atached to the cam are all i have to work with

The wires/adjoining ends disapeared into the wall and i have no access

.aside from that ,i dont know what kind of ends they had.i have 5 thin wires from the cam.how do i get around this

If that is what you have you would need to replace the cable. I doubt you could splice into that and have it work with out an issue.
