I need to know if the customer can split the view of the cameras onto multiple screens. He is going to have a total of 16 cameras and wants to split the view of 8 on one monitor and 8 on the other. The monitors are all in the same location as the Hybrid DVR will be located.

HYBDVR-FE16-DH is the model I'm looking at for the customer. If this one does not work for that please suggest one that will as the split view is a requirement for the customer.
To be honest sir any of the systems can be split if you view them through the computer software smart pss.

"This unit is all about versatility. With 2 HDMI, VGA and BNC Video outputs, you can operate several different monitors simultaneously. With the included Matrix output, you can also run a separate monitor that can be programmed to display a completely different series of cameras!"
You will have granular control on two monitors, one with HDMI the other with a BNC connection. The BNC monitor will only display an analog type resolution regardless of what you are recording. The BNC labeled "spot out" is the video output you can control. You can pick what channels to show up. Also the second HDMI out is controllable with specific channels you want. There is another video output that is labeled "video out'. As far as I know it shows all the channels of the DVR with no control of what is displayed. Then all the analog channels all have individual spot outs for their respective channels. By Far this unit has the most "video out" outputs. You can do what you want with 2 monitors. The 3rd monitor can be done, but you wont have granular control over what you see on it. I hope this helps.
I also was just informed that the spot out will only do analog cameras as well.
