Have a bit of a unique job coming up that requires a camera moving down a pipe and have been looking at various security cameras with their IP66 ratings (fair amount of water still splashing around in the pipes on occasion) but we need to be able to look directly up and was wondering if the cameras could be mounted horizontally rather than vertically (ie instead of the bottom of the camera pointing down we'd have it pointing straight ahead, thus allowing us to look straight up and down) would have any adverse affect on things like the pan motors, auto-flip video etc?
Had been looking at something like this from here but just wanted to make sure it was actually something that may work mounted like we hope to do
Cheers

If you need the camera to move that is a good camera to use to look up with. I dont know about mounting it to a pipe though. it would need to be wide or build some platform for the camera to mount to.
If you don't need the camera to move That might be better for you.

If you only need to zoom and focus on the fly instead of pan and tilt this camera would be great.
