Has anyone used NVMS7000 app on an Android TV box

The app installs ok and opens but I am unable to get into setup to enter DVR/NVR details. The icon which normally show in top left for setup does not appear. Is there any key sequence that brings up the setup page.

Hello,

I have not personally tried this combination of equipment, but it could be that the TV is zoomed in, etc. Try those settings, and also the resolution of the android device.

Thanks

I concur with Brad, the application is created to fit mobile phones and tablets. Your Android TV would have a different resolution. Verify if you can alter the resolution to fit your screen.

I solved the problem. it is simply a Portrait/Landscape issue. The NVMS7000 app only allows access to the setup icons whilst in Portrait mode. The problem is the TV box doesn't have autorotation or a Portrait or Landscape option

The solution is install a force rotation app set it to portrait do the DVR/NVR settings set the orientation back to landscape and all good NVMS7000 works fine as a simple wireless spot  monitor if your DVR/NVR doesn't have a CVBS output.

Handy without cabling if you want to put your DVR/NVR cameras on a HDMI port of your TV to quickly view what is happening outside.
