Your app works great while on my network WiFi and I understand I need different settings for off-WiFi viewing.  I just cannot seem to set this up correctly.

1) I have a TechPro DDNS account.

2) I have port forwarded 88 and 37777 on my router.

3) What are the correct settings in the app for viewing off-WiFi?

Name:  I assume this is my choice.

      Address:  ?

      Port:   ?

Username:  Use username set on NVR or one I set up with the domain I created?

Password:   Use password set on NVR or one I set up with the domain I created?

Jarvis,

Depending on what ISP you have, yes you will need to have different settings for when you are home vs. away.  Here are the settings for you:

Name:  I assume this is my choice.  You are correct

Address:  ?    You can use either your External IP Address (can be found by going to http://www.canyouseeme.org) or your techproddns.com address Ie. w  ww.mydvr.techproddns.com

Port:   ?    For the mobile application you will always use the 37777 or whatever you changed it to.

Username:  Use username set on NVR or one I set up with the domain I created?    You are correct

Password:   Use password set on NVR or one I set up with the domain I created?     You are correct

This should be all you need to do to see your system offsite.  Now to test, you can simply take your mobile device off of the same WIFI network the recorder is on and try to login.

Thanks for the prompt reply.  Still cannot access.  Is it possible that my ISP has my external port blocked?

Yes, actually already did this and I can see the port ip address.  All I get is "login timeout" whether trying to use the ****.techproddns.com or using the external ip address.

I saw on one of these posts that another app was suggested:  idmss lite.  Should I try that with iPhone 6s?

if you are on site using the external IP address make sure the wifi is off on the phone.

Turns out (after I ran this again and looked closer), seems my ports ARE blocked ie: 80,88,37777.

ISP is TWC (Road Runner).  Any further suggestions?

You need to forward the ports if you would like remote access to work. If you need us to do that use the chat support feature on the right side of the website.
