I had the old version and it was working fine. but I got an update notice and let to do the update.
Now I can no longer log in to the DVR.
I can view the demo. but not my DVR.
I can view my dvr using the old system on my other phone (also android same exact ap, same exact settings).
But the newest version will not work for me. Can you put up the old version3.00.0 from 7/12/13 someplace that my phone can d/l and install it?

yes, that's the version. But you came out with an updated version that had a few additional features so I d/l it and installed it and it will not allow me to log in. There are also a few bugs in the program (doesn't ask how many cameras, defaults to 1, the name/address is obscured if over 19 characters, etc)
The old one worked fine and I wish I did not overwite it. I removed the new version and reinstalled it fresh and it does the same thing.
Can you please put the old version back up so I can d/l it again? (for the Android, non-tablet version)

BTW, I was able to d/l and install the version for Android Tablets, and it does work on my phone. The menus and screens are bunched up, but it works as far as being able to login and see the cameras.
But I can tell it's the older version because of the graphics. I just need that version but for the phone not tablet. It shows as version Techpro HD Lite Ver. 2.70.0700 build 9/11/14
That one works fine, accept is for the android tablets.
I need version version 3 for the android phone. Kind of important I'm traveling next month and need to get this working on my phone so I can see my kids while traveling!

Yes can you just put the link back on our website so I can install the older version? I went to the link above but it's a .rar file and my phone has no idea what to do with it.
You can fix the new version later at your leisure, I just need to get the old version now. it's just a link to the old android version.

Do not download it directly to your Phone as it is Compressed.
Uncompress the file on your desktop, then navigate to http://www.apkinstall.com/ on your favorite browser. Click on the correct file and select your favorite QR code scanner this will allow your phone to download it from APKinstalls server and you will be able to install it from there.
Keep in mind that it will sit in their Servers for only 15 minutes. This is a tool used for App Developers that want to relay their apps without the need to have them published to Google Play and it works good when trying to install and old version of an application.

We are trying to get the older version of the app then we will post the .apk on our website. We have no way to reposted in google app store. Once we find it then I will personally sent you a link for you to download.

Hey Guys I leave tomorrow. I've been posting here for 2 weeks. All I need is a link to install it on my phone again. I just tried d/l it again from the download page and same problem. I'm sorry but I don't understand what is so hard about just putting the old version back up. Just give it a new name and add it like you did the tablet app. So we'll have 3 to choose from instead of 2.

Hello,
I'm sorry but this is not a simple task for us to put the old one back. This is sitting on Google's server and when the new update was released it override the old one. I'm trying to get the apt separate to uploaded here but it takes time. In the mean time have you tried Gdmss? What is the issue you are having that you cannot use the new one?

Well it's now 3 months later and I can't get get the app to work.
PLEASE READ:
I can get the tablet version to work (on 2 tabletS and on my new phone, but on the new phone the menus are hard to read, otherwise I'd just use it.)
I can still use the old version on my old phone.
I used to be able to use the old version fine on my new but it asked me if I wanted to update to the latest, I said yes, and then it would not longer work.
I went to the Dauha website but could not find anything that indicated it was for an android phone. Do you have a URL for the old version?
CLEARLY I'M NOT STUPID. CLEARLY I KNOW HOW TO SET IT UP. I HAVE IT WORKING ON 2 TABLETS, 1 OTHER PHONE AND THE TABLET VERSION WORKING ON MY NEW PHONE. CLEARLY I'M NOT AN IDIOT AND CLEARLY YOUR NEW VERSION HAS A PROBLEM.
I HAVE BEEN WAITING PATIENTLY FOR 3 MONTHS FOR YOU TO GIVE ME THE URL TO THE OLD VERSION OR FOR YOU TO FIX THE NEW VERSION. CLEARLY CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT YOUR PRIORITY, BUT HOW MUCH LONGER TO I HAVE TO WAIT TO GET THE PROBLEM RESOLVED?

Hello,
Please submit some screenshots about the issue you are having. There is a chance that the old app will not longer be available from Dahua or google Play. I posted this before you left. What is the issue you are having with the new one? What DVR you have? Version of the firmware? Pm me the external Ip address, port username and password so we can test it.
