 I am planning to purchase or build a pc to handle viewing 6 dvrs and around 60 cameras simultaneously on 4 monitors.  What are the hardware reccomendations for this setup?

On the Main Monitor you can have up to 64 cameras displayed, any additional displays"extension screens" can have up to 16 cameras.

With 4 monitors you will need 2 video cards. 

Please find bellow the minimum requirements to operate the software with one device.

PSS Minimum System Requirement
CPU Intel Core2Duo E6750, RAM : 2GB above
Video memory 512MB
HDD 80GB above
OS Window XP/Vista, DirectX 9.0 above
Display resolution 1024 x 768 above
