I had setup the guarding expert app on my Samsung cell phone and a couple of weeks back it upgraded to Android 8.0 and I imagine the app also updated and then everything stopped working. I can add the device in the local network but the P2P setup for remote viewing that I had before does not work anymore. When I log in to the app comes up with network exception. The same happens when i try to add the p2p device. It does not recognize the device with the QR reader. How could I delete from the Guarding Expert account and re-register the device again in a different app like Hik-Vision?

I moved your requests to a new topic as you were adding to an already completed topic. I suggest removing the app and redownloading the app adding all the information for P2P. Keep in mind that Android is now on ver 9 which is Android PIE. You may also need to update your phone as well if it is possible as many android devices cannot go past a certain version because of hardware limitation.
