Alternative to IPIMS software for DXHD16 DVR

I have a client using the IPIMS software that ships with the DXHD16 DVR.  When he views the cameras there are black lines on either side of the video in the video squares.  He would like to get rid of these and utilize the maximum space for the video.  This cannot be done with the currentsoftware and the company we purchases the DVR from has no plans to upgrade it.  Does anyone knw of an alternative or generic software that will work with this DVR?

I'm sorry but unfortunately we do not have a software that will work with that DVR.
