Wiring for the Tiny 8 channel NVR

Hi,

New to NVR's, heck I'm new to CCTV. I'd like to wire my new Tiny 8 nvr to my network. I have a iMac hard wired to an Airport Extreme base station served by an Actiontec M1000 router.

I have one camera, a 2mp ir ptz (20X 2 Megapixel Infrared IP Network PTZ Security Camera)

The camera has power and one Cat 5e cable in the camera running about 150 ft. back to a closet where my router and Airport Extreme live. My NVR is next to my iMac and about 6ft. from the router and Airport Extreme.

What is the proper configuration for the cables before I start messing with the software?

(What do I plug in where?)

The NVR and camera come with the IP address 192.168.1.108. You need to find out what your network range is setup at first. Also find out what the action tech is range is too. You may want to connect to action tech instead of airport if it is set to a 192.168.1.1-254 range.
