Hello from Michigan,
I have only just begun my search, but I'm in the market for an IP camera/NVR setup for my stand-alone garage/workshop. And because I have no internet access, I plan to build a self-contained network within the workshop.
As such, my big fear is someone breaking in and simply stealing the NVR with all the video footage. To combat this, I would like to use a PoE gigabit switch and two (2) NVRs that will simultaneously record the camera data. I want to leave one NVR out in the open, and hide the second one.
According to the link below, it should be possible.
Can anyone help me understand if any of Security Camera King NVR options will play nice together on the same network? I need an NVR duo that allows a "master/slave" relationship.
Any insight would be appreciated
Thank you

Hello,
What you are looking to achieve is very much possible and for you I would suggest our Elite line of NVR's and IP cameras and you can have the two NVR's recording simultaneously on a local private network and as an additional back up feature I would suggest for a couple or a few of the cameras to have a built in microSD card slot which would provide another back up measure should anything ever happen to the recorders themselves you would always have some back up footage on the sd card.
I would be happy to further discuss the set up with you please call toll free 866-573-8878 extension 127 when you have time.
Thanks,
Eric Wilson
