We have one NVR (NVR-ELE8M-P4K) in our system that seems to have a 6 character PW limitation. Everything else in the UI looks the same as the rest of them on the property.

Is this a firmware upgrade issue? Are firmware upgrades the same for all Elite series units? What information do I need from the NVR before I download an update>

Every model is different. I also would discourage you from downloading firmware outside of our normal procedures as you may end up bricking the recorder. To make a firmware request send an email to support@securitycameraking.com with the serial number of the unit, model number and current version and build date.
