Yes, it will work. There is a new firmware for the recorder. See if it's on 1.0.4.2, if it's not please email use to open a ticket @ support@securitycameraking.com

Jose, as always, thank you for the support. I have 1 other question. I have some existing Axis and Arecont cameras. Will this support them as well?

The NVR-SB8ME-8P recorder is capable of accepting Onvif Cameras. I would say it is hard to say if it is but as long as it is Onvif 2.3 or greater it should work. You would have to conduct some tests which you do have 30 days to return the product if it's not compatible with your cameras
