I recently installed a NVR-ELT-4-POE4 unit with 3 2MP cameras. I set it to record motion only on all channels and on all days. I noticed that it was not recording at all and did more testing but again found no recording. I set it to record 24/7 which worked but don't really want to leave it that way. Is something else required for motion recording?
The issue is most likely from the camera side. The motion feature is not enabled. You can try a hard reset on the camera and see if it starts recording motion. If not you will have to login into camera directly to turn it on. Also I need to know what the exact model number of camera is. If it is the LX series IP cameras the require extra configuration to work correctly for motion specifically.
