Question: after plugging in a camera i notice the NVR says saving then reboots. It takes about 3 minutes to cycle, but then does this again for maybe 4 times before coming to a rest. Is it every time it detects a change it needs to save something then reboot? I just need to know if this is normal and expected as I add and make changes to the NVR.

This is not normal operation. Please state the make and model of the cameras, as well as the Hard Disk, Drives Make and Model.
