I wanted to give Sibell a try after helping a buddy set up one that he bought.
I have 3 Foscam IP cameras that I can't get to work on the Sibell. Here is what I have tried:
- The quick add feature discovers the ONVIF camera and I can add it. IP, Port, etc all look correct, but status will always report "offline"
- I've tried various ways of adding the camera manually, all of which also will end up with an "offline" status.
I can manually view the rtsp stream in VLC by entering rtsp://user:password@192.168.1.122:554/videoMain. I have tried to add this to Sibell as a rtsp camera unsuccessfully via a custom protocol in which I select rtsp as the type,TCP as the transfer protocol, and the appropriate ports for the main and sub streams. I've tried both "/videoMain" and "videoMain" as the resource path but neither works. Is there any documentation on what exactly is wanted in the the resource path? I'm sure this should work if I can just find out what's expected of this field.
thanks
Hello Jon,
More than likely your Foscam needs a firmware upgrade. Check the Onvif Version of the camera. Let me know what it is.
