Greetings, I'm a beginner concerning cameras.
I need a compatible NVR or DVR for these 2 (two) DAHUA cameras.
XS-4MPVFIP
They are connected by an ETHERNET cable to a TP-LINK (TL-SF 1008P).
They were using a hard drive to record24/7.
Any recommendations? or if I need to change anything??

Titang,
The model number you referenced doesn't pull anything down on google, are you positive these are dahua cameras?
Our Elite NVRs are largely compatible with the Dahua camera line and would be the way to go, I would select one based on how many cameras you want the ability to expand to beyond your two you have now. If you don't need more than 4, then the https://www.securitycameraking.....ports-poe/ would be my recommendation. These recorders come with the POE built in already, so if your cables are run back to an area that is easy for you to plug into the recorder then that would the best way to set it up. If you prefer, you can continue to power your cameras through your switch, as long as your switch and recorder are both connected to the same router.
If you would like assistance in making your purchase, please give us a call at (561) 288-5258 ext 2 and we would be happy to assist you.

I would love to buy the one you showed me (Max 4 cameras), just need to be sure. The (burned) DVR or NVR was a XVR1008, it doesn't say anything else.
The system was installed two years ago.
attached the camera and the XVR1008 pdf.
That certainly looks like a Dahua turret. The XVR1008 would be a hybrid model, which explains why you have a switch. If you intend on only using IP cameras as you expand your system, you're better off purchasing an NVR, those are made specifically for IP cameras and handle that workload better. I recommend either https://www.securitycameraking.....ports-poe/ if 4 maximum cameras works for you. You can either call us at (561) 288-5258 ext 2 or you can always order through our website.
