Adding 2 4TB HDD did not work. What I mean is I still cannot play all 8 ch/cams at once.
So I'm looking to see if I have the lastest firmware. I updated once already to Nov 27 2014 firmware. Is it possible you have another update already? Checking the link for firmware update in email.
Will report back soon.

The link to the firmware update does'nt work. Something about a box, but nothing about updating NVRs. Please resend firmware update to me.

There should be a big download link in the middle of the screen. Update your NVR using this config tool:

Maybe your ISP name server has an issue with the url, or there is an issue with the https assignment on your computer. You can cut and paste the URL if the link it not working.

Got link ok second email from you guys. Updated from 3 blah blah blah 6R to 3 blah blah blah 8R. Dated to 04-28-2015 from 11-27-2014. System is recording now. I click on playback 8 cans and 5 cams played and last 3 said over encode or something to that effect. So I rebooted and letting it record for a good while and then test out 8 cam play back. But 5 is an improvement.

This picture is huge but it shows 5 cams on 8 cam playback and the other 3 cams say over decode ability.
I'm out of ideas. 8 cams at 3mp recording might be too much to play all 8. I don't know but i got good hardware now and the latest software so I'm perplexed.
Oh when I attempt to play all 8 cams on playback which only plays 4-5 cams now. When I back out of playback mode and go to live view of my cams some of them stay dark until I reboot. Then all 8 live cams come back.
The new software did prompt for passwords and questions.
