Can I use my external IP to login outside the network?

Hi,

Moving on here Confused . I'm looking for s simple way my technically challenged friends and family can see the camera image and perhaps operate my IP camera with limitations. (If not operate, seeing the stream will suffice.)

Is there a way to use my external ip and a browser to accomplish this? I've tried PSS Mini and they couldn't handle the instructions.

We could port forward the camera so that way you can have direct remote access. Setting them up with their own user account and limiting what they could do is very important. Another option would be to get a chat session going with me and your friend I can remote in to their computer and set up pss mini.
