I'm no fanboy, but using a PC is like tying a hand behind your back and trying to juggle.
LOL, I understand. Can you use a chrome browser? Sometimes things behave better in chrome these days. Also, you could try putting HTTP:// or HTTPS:// in front of the IP address and see if that works.

Hi,
I have tried lots of browsers including Chrome. None of them are able to log into the Web Service interface on these TP cameras to set them up. Before I started to acquire this CCTV equipment I was told that Macs were "no problem". Macs are no problem that is if you happen to also own a PC. Now it turns out I have to spend a couple of hundred dollars just to set up my TP cams! I tried an emulator (VMware). Not only did it not work on my i7 iMac, but the purchase price for Windows 8 and VMware was more expensive than a 15" PC at Walmart.
Best,
Tom

I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe the guys at SCK can ultimately get you going with what you have. They will know for sure. Best of luck. Post an update about it regardless.

Also, why are you using port 88 tagged on there? If you're on your local network, try just the address of the camera without 88.

I think I'll end up doing what you suggested awhile back. Buying the cheapest Walmart laptop I can find. I saw one for 200 bucks new with a 15 inch screen. Now I understand why most people end up with a windows system. The price!
Btw, I can get into the interface of two of my EL cameras no problem with Safari. But can't get into the NVR , nor the two TP cameras with Safari or Chrome.
