Hi,
The NVR is a bit noisy so I'm thinking of putting it in a closet that backs on to my office wall.
Will a windows Bluetooth mouse work with my 8ch Tiny NVR?

We have had the best success with the logitech wireless mouses. I would think as long as you do not need to install drivers should work.

I forgot about the drivers. Have you used a Logitech mouse on any of your NVR's or DVR's?

I have used mine and it worked. I would suggest just plugging them in if you have them and testing them out. A lot of wireless mouses (mice?) work with the DVRs/NVRs

Thanks.
I don't have one. So I want to make sure they will work before I buy one. Do most of these devices have a dongle or something that plugs into the usb port on the NVR/DVR?

Most all wireless mice will come with a dongle that will plug into the USB port on the NVR. I have used a variety of wireless mice with my units, what you will need to make sure that the dongle is visible so the mouse and dongle can communicate.
Yes they have a tiny infrared transmission device that go into usb port.

Hi Ryan,
I'm putting the NVR in a closet behind a wall about 12 feet from a dedicated monitor
on the mouse side of the wall. I read the bluetooth signal will go through a wall.

I have never had good luck with Bluetooth going through the wall. I generally will run a USB extension into the same room so the dongle is in the same room as the mouse. I have found this works the best. I have tried several bluetooth mice and have yet to have good results through walls.
