Hello,
Unfortunately our NVRs are accessible through Internet Explorer. The IP cameras instead are able to be accessible from Safari natively.
Thanks
Ok, I'm new to the ip world. How exactly would I add a user to view my IP PTZ cam from a remote location that is not on my LAN on Safari?
If you have an IP PTZ that is not on your network, you may not be able to view it remotely. As long as it's connected to a router that DOES have an internet connection, you'll be able to add a user in order to have someone else log into it.
Do you know the IP Address of your current camera? If so, you can put that into a browser (along with its port number) on your local network in order to configure the camera. If it's a camera that was purchased from us, feel free to call in and tech support can definitely help you set up the camera the way you need it.
I can also write out the instructions here, but we need a little more information so I know where to start from.
1. Did you get the camera from us
2. Do you know the IP address for the camera
3. Have you ever logged into it in order to set it up?

Hi,
Yes I bought the camera from you. and the NVR.
( IPPTZ-EL2MPIR250L20X)
I do know the IP address of the camera on my LAN (192.168.1.109).
Daniel Ross set it up for me, and it seems to be working fine.
I have a few friends on the east coast I'd like to have view the live image.
Thanks
