One on my HD Cameras isn't recording to the Hard Drive at all. All my other 4 cameras are recording on motion. What do I do?

rrondinella - we will need a little more information to be able to help you. Hd cameras can be IP cams, HD-CVI cams, HD-TVI cams, etc. See if you can find a model number for the camera and a model number for the DVR/NVR - then we can give more specific advice.
The other thing you can try is to check settings between a working camera and the one that is not recording - and duplicate them from the working camera.
Check in 'Event > Video Detect > Motion detect to see that Motion is Enabled and 'Record Channel' is selected for that camera.
Check in 'Storage > Schedule' to make sure Motion is set for that camera
Check 'Storage > Record' to make sure camera is set to use the schedule. (white dot in top row)
These tips are for our newer systems - if none of that makes any sense, you may have a different model DVR/NVR.
Let us know if that helps.

Ah - OK then. I have heard that we are waiting on a firmware update to resolve that issue with the 4K units. I have emailed the team in Florida location to see if they have gotten the update yet. Someone should be getting back to you in fairly short order - either one of Florida team or myself. We'll let you know ASAP.

All right - I heard from Florida team that this is what we need. here is a link to download the firmware update for that unit.
(Firmware Link omited)
Save that file to a USB flash drive. Then put the flash drive into a USB port on the NVR. It should prompt you to Backup Files or System Upgrade - choose System Upgrade.
The NVR will update the firmware and restart. After restart you should be able to get into the areas you need to check.
If you still have any issue with it, please report back here.
