We are very excited to introduce a brand new video transmission technology created specifically for the transmission of High Definition security camera video over the most common CCTV Coaxial Cable infrastructure. SecurityCameraKing.com is one of the original pioneers of this amazing technology and our sales people and technicians have been trained in the use and best practices of HD-CVI. 

HD-CVI is capable of transmitting up to 1080p (2 Megapixel) video over existing coax cable infrastructures up to 1600 feet without any repeaters. This provides a much better solution that HD-SDI which is limited to 300 feet transmission. Additionally, you will be surprised to find that HDCVI is priced much lower than IP or even HD-SDI security cameras and is actually priced very similarly to the older analog CCTV security cameras. 

As we roll this new product line out, there are limited models available, but we will be expanding this product line very quickly. The response to HD CVI has been unprecedented and we expect that it will overtake analog CCTV camera sales in the very near future. There are still some advantages to using Network IP Security Cameras, especially if you want higher than 1080p resolution, however, for most customers, HD-CVI is a great solution providing high resolution video and a very low price point.
