Hello,
I recently purchased the IPVD-EL4IR28A and IPOD-SB4IR28 IP cameras. I want to add their live streams into my home automation control but need to have url for the jpeg/snapshot to add them to the system. I'm not sure what they are or how to get them. The direct wording in my automation system is:
"You are no longer required to fill in the IP address just paste the full URL which returns a JPG file/snapshot in the box below. Example: http://192.168.8.200/snapshot.cgi"
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
Elite System See Forum post https://www.securitycameraking.....on-webpage
Sibell System See Forum Post https://www.securitycameraking.....tsnapshot/

Thank you Jose for the fast reply. I'm very confused with the instructions in those post. It look like they are trying to get a snapshot form a NVR. I don't have them hooked to a recorder. I need to get them directly from the camera.
For instance if I have the Sibelll camera set as 192.168.1.31
and the Elite camera set as 192.168.1.32
What would I have to do to the the snapshot url directly from the camera.
Thank you again for your help.
It is the same string, same request. Use Channel1 for the camera.

I cannot get it to work. For the elite I'm entering:
http://192.168.1.32/CGI-bin/snapshot.cgi?[channel=1]
and for the Sibell I'm using: http://192.168.1.31%5B554:port%5D/GetSnapshot{/channel1]
I cannot get it to return an image to me.

try removing the authentication on the string and see if your automation system allows for manual input.
