i have the TRIDVR-ELE16M and want to hookup two IP cams from my garage.

would either of these 1M will work well with the DVR?

1 Megapixel Indoor/Outdoor IR Network IP Dome Security Camera
     Product# IPOD-EL1MPIR50-E
1 Megapixel Indoor/Outdoor IR Network IP Bullet Security Camera
     Product# IPOB-EL1MPIR50-E

i don't have PoE switch, so i would need to purchase power adapter too?

a big price jump from 1M/720p to 2M/1080p, is the 2M/1080p that much better?

Both cameras would work with your Tribrid Recorder. You would need a PoE Switch or a 12VDC Power Supply.

4 Port POE Switch with 1 Gigabit Uplink Product# POE-4G1G

4 Channel Output Switching Supply Product# PWR-MINI-4

When it comes to resolution it is best for you to look at the image attached here. With 1080P you will have 3 times the resolution were the image contains more pixels for a more crisper and clearer image allowing you to identify the object or person on the other side of the lens.

those comparison images "says" a lot, probably better to go with 1080p. I have 8tb storage on this TriDVR. thanks
