When the lights go off at night, it's important the plants don't get exposed to most frequencies of light. The infrared cameras emit a red light which is bad for the plants. However, we need to have the infrared on when the lights are out by law. Is there a way to lessen the red, maybe filter it to a greener color. I realize this is probably not possible but I promised my growers I would ask.
The frequency of the IR in our cameras has almost no effect on cannabis plants (our cameras utilize the 850nm to 940nm range). I'm our cannabis specialist and I have hundreds of customers who are growers and many of them have been producing a quality products for years now. You can reach me at 866-573-8878 ext 113 for help with anything along these lines.
