I have a long range camera model IPOB-TP2MP250L660-W that does not work with NVR serial no. PA3LF056W00127. I have tried newer NVR's and the camera comes up no problem. I did verify the cable is good at the customer site. Is there a compatibility issue or maybe update firmware?

Good Morning Craig,
Based on the version you gave me there should be a firmware available, but FYI it is extremely risky with an older model NVR like this. I would advise against it if you have another option.
In the case you would like to proceed, please send me the exact model number of this NVR as well as an image of the back of the unit so I can see the layout of all the connections.
