Hi, thanks for inquiring. Please let your wife know that we can send you samples with the various colors, textures and materials we offer. Many of our customers really like the chrome housings with gold accents....

Just kidding....lol. I really wish did offer various color combinations, but unfortunately we do not. I think it would be a great idea, painting is definitely an option that I have seen done before. You might even be able to wrap the housings just like you wrap a car. 

My wife has brought up the same question by the way, so this is obviously something that others consider as well.
