How to reset the IPPTZ-EL2MPL12X-Mini-O. This solves problems with accessing the camera via the default IP http://192.168.1.108 or via Config tool.

1. Loosen and remove hex screws from the dome cover, there are 3 hex screws that secure the dome cover

2. After removing the dome cover you will find a foam piece that keeps the camera from moving in shipping. You may not have it if it has been installed and used

3. Remove the screw that holds the module in place, it’s the only one that has a notch as pictured below

4. Now loosen the two remaining screws

5. Now that the module is lose you can now remove the plastic dome cover, there is two screws on either side

6. Remove the dome cover to expose the camera module and circuit board

7. Manually move the module forward so you can see the back of circuit board (the fan is an indication that you are looking at the back of the circuit board)

8. The reset button is indicated by the red arrow, you can use the white cable with red stripes as a reference point. Press and hold the button while the camera is powered on for 40 seconds, release and wait a moment for the camera to initialize. Now attempt using config tool again or type in the default IP http://192.168.1.108 in the Internet Explorer browser. The default login is admin – username , admin - password
