What happened to the price of these dvr's! At those prices you may as well just go with an NVR! Shame to see that happen.

We have not increased any of our prices. As a matter of fact, we have never had a price increase. Maybe you are looking at the new 1080p HD-CVI DVRs? They are definitely more expensive than the 720p units we have been selling. As for the price of the HD-CVI recorders vs NVRs, you have to take the entire package into consideration. In most cases, HD-CVI will be cheaper, especially if you have existing COAX cabling. Also, there are no bandwidth issues to worry about like IP.

I could have sworn the 8 channel 720 was under 200 originally. I could be mistaken I guess, sorry. You have a great selection of cvi cameras. Good to see.

No problem. There has definitely not been an increase. We just introduced the LX Series CVI Cameras and they have been very hot! Thanks for all the participation.

So after much consideration and shopping, I decided on eight 100' cat5 cables! My cost- 76 cents, LOL! Your Memorial Day sale helped the cause too.Thank you very much. This is my start to upgrading to an NVR/IP system. Over time now, I'll be buying the rest of the gear. But you can't beat having eight 100 footers ready to go! Thanks again.
