I am looking to add five or six CVI cameras, with mics, that have the audio inputs built into them. Do all channels support audio when wired through the camera, or are the dvrs limited to 4, since there is 4 physical audio inputs in the machine? I'm talking about these 2 models in particular.

Morning Scott, 

I do not believe the DVR is limited to the amount of RCA inputs on the back of it. The best rule of thumb I know is if there is an audio check box under the encode setting for that channel then it should record audio on that channel.
