The promise of a better bowser has now been released with IE 11. Unfortunately if you download and install it IE 11 will blow out your settings in the previous version of IE. Not so fun. Anyways I have take the time to do some initial testing win Win 7 64-bit version. Here is  the deal :

  1. you have to run IE 11 in admin mode.
  2. Then you have to reset your unsigned active X controls to prompt.
  3. Then If you do not have the menu bar enabled, enable it.
  4. Click tools then Compatibility view settings and add the dvr ip address.

Now all you do is refresh and the browser should download the active X control and see the login screen as you should. I have not tested this in Win8 but I would expect the fix to be the same. If it is not call in and I will see what I can do.

I will recommend you for you to give us a call. IE 11 is a nightmare and we still trying to figure out why or what setting is the one causing application to crash. Remember this is a new Explorer version that it just got release recently and we need to look a way to have a step by step procedure to connect to the DVR/NVR and Cameras

First Windows Auto Update put I.E. 11 on my Win 8 computer and today on the Win 7 computer.  Killed the Web Service for the DVR both times.  I 'uninstalled' I.E. 11 both times and both times the DVR's Web Service was back.

You can go backwards or calling in would be best so I can see what is happening. In some cases TechPross remote viewing software is the best fix. https://www.securitycameraking.....#038;ind=0

It just depends on how much you want to use IE to see the DVR. A lot of people prefer the software instead. It is not as responsive as the webservice so for configuration I dont like it so much. Other than that I rather use it as it looks good for viewing and playback. Also I like how it can convert a clip as it downloads it. The windows OS is difficult as you have to adjust settings just to see the file on the computer then still convert it with another software so media players can play the clip.

I use TechProSS on my phone, works great, but it is limited, especially viewing more than 4 cameras at a time.

Tried calling this morning but your phones were so busy, probably because of the I.E. 11 caused crashes, that the call wouldn't go through one time and was disconnected without talking to anyone after waiting awhile another time.

When the fix for using the Web Service with I.E. 11 is done perhaps you will publish it, even send out emails it is available.  Meantime, I don't want to be a guinea pig.

The fix posted in my first post is it. If your browser keeps crashing taht could be some type of malware, or the active X control is corrupted somehow.  We have chat support on right side of website. try that if the phones get backed up.
