SKU: MIC (slender black microphone)
Installed outside under sofitt, not exposed to rain. Worked fine first month but began too start getting static sounds and eventually died about a week later. It's a cheap mic but a pain to install. Any recommendations for a replacement?

Unfortunately, we do not carry an outdoor rated microphone I am unable to recommend a third party microphone.
The (MIC) is not outdoor rated. Under eave, open porch and other similar locations are still considered outdoor areas. Moisture is the culprit when it comes to non-outdoor rated microphones and them failing.

You aren't kidding - the new mic died after two days. Too bad as it sounded very good for those two days. Do you think the mics below would work using the existing cable you sell?
