First question:
Is there a way to reassigned the Spot Video output on the HYBDVR-FE016480-DH160? I have 15 analog cameras and 1 IP camera. I have reassigned channel 16 to be digital so it appears in the 16 camera view. My analog cameras all loop out to channel adjustable modulators so I can see them on a UHF cable network I created to see the cameras on TVs around the house. Since the IP camera doesn't have an analog input, I can't feed a signal to a modulator so it can have it's own UHF channel. If there was a way to reassign the Spot Video output from channel 1 to channel 16, it would give me an analog feed. I think I read in the manual that the Spot Video is associated with an alarm activation, but I don't know if it's possible to make it stay on all the time from an alarm setting.
Second question:
I know this is a discontinued product, but was there ever a firmware update available for this DVR? I bought it in June 2015.
