I purchased a couple IR cameras recently (IPOD-EL1MPIR50 and IPOB-EL2MPIR50). I have too many false triggers because of the bugs near the front of the cameras. I haven't noticed anything in the web interface allowing me to disable the emitters. How can I disable the IR emitters.

Hello,
unfortunately you cannot disable the Irs in the camera due to need for it to see at night. The only thing will be a light closed to the camera so bugs can be attractive to it.

Yes, I agree. What I would do is either put another brighter IR illuminator or a regular light a short distance away so that it attracts the bugs away from the camera.

I've heard of a couple people having success blocking out their IRs with electrical tape.... But as the others stated, you're now with zero nightvision. But... You can do it///
