Hey Gilberto,
Im playing with the DX acp-dxel2 and need some help. I have the maglock wired correctly, I think. Positive to NC and negative to the ground on the board on the DR1 side. I jumped power from the 12v input on the board to the common terminal on DR1 also. I having a problem wiring my exit button. I have 12v going to it and Ihave two wires from the normally closed and com terminal on the button going to the GND and P1 terminals on the DR1 side. Can you give me a hand from here. I downloaded the software on my laptop and I have a network cable connencted to the board. I can see the board, just having some difficulties setting it up. The lock is locked, I press the button and it unlocks 3 seconds later but never relocks.
Good evening night hawk nice meeting you Friday, so when logged into the boards interface your able to click on open door and the ma glock opens then never locks again?
also on the push to exit you don't need to have any power connected, all you do is connect the 2 wires from the exit button to the P1 on the DX board and when tripped the lock will open.
heres a great article on the set up:
Hey Gilberto, I'm using a DynaLock ACRE-6610E, Which has the light in it. I ran 12v from the reader section of the panel. This button has NO and NC connections on it. I was wired into NC. When I switched over to NO, I got the result that I wanted. The button has a timer on it which I set to the lowest setting, then the board has a three second delay before it re-energizes the maglock. Also, I had to play with the jumpers on the button to get the button to stay red when locked and green when access was granted.
Now im going to wire up the PIR, can I just run wire from the NO and COM on the PIR to the NO and COM on the button?
Happy Friday night hawk
I just wanted to follow up on your access control install, how is it going?
Everything worked out perfect. We needed to adjust the steel plate that wasattached to the door inorder for the magnet to grab to grab the plate properly. This set up was not complicated to install once we figured it out. I would recomend an online wiring diagram to help out someone who does not have experience with access control. We Mocked the system up in our office first so that we couldfigure out how everything works. I also recomend selling the customer a card reader for the outside, especially when using at a store or where there is not a person manning the front door all the time like a secretary. We also installed a door bell with a camera and a two way intercom with this system. The door bell has a camera built in with a speaker and mic that goes to a wireless handheld device that has a small screen built in and a speaker with a mic so there is communication with the unit mounted outside by the door. This setup also came with a gatway that was wiring into the "request to exit button" and gave the customer full control of the entrance, video, audio, and access control in one handheld device.
