I've sent emails to support but no response. I'm hoping someone looks here as I bought two door strikes that are advertised as fail-secure but they are unlocked when there is no power: ACDS-DX1500SE and ACDS-DX1500SE-L. Both work when the power is on, but when power is removed from them, they are open/unlocked.
First, are these the correct locks and if so, is there something I Need to do to make them fail-secure?
Thanks!

I spoke with support and the problem was that the locks can be configured for fail-safe or fail-secure and they came fail-safe. To change this, there are two screws on the side where the label is that need to be removed. Then there is an internal plate that can be slid "the other way" and resecured to change modes. I found a small screwdriver used to move the plate from the strike side made this a bit easier but shaking it seemed to work, as well.
