Hi, I am a new user on this site and I have a challenge which I hope someone would be able to assist or point in the right direction.
I have been offered a project which is an estate with 232 houses and there is only 1 main entrance/exit to the estate. The client wants to put up a system which if any visitor drivers in, the security system will ring the tenant living in the estate so the visitor can be granted access or denied to the estate. The tenant would be able to view on a CCTV camera who is the person if he's on foot or even be able to view the car. Other options would be that if someone is coming over to visit a tenant, the tenant would be able to grant access through an app or something installed in his house which would allow the tenant to provide information about this X person and what time he wants to visit and grant him access. The entire estate would be connected through fiber-optic for the internet and will be also be used for other networking solutions for security etc.
What are the options here? Anyone here ever done something similar or knows of a solution should please provide.

Hi LVS,
That sounds like a great project but unfortunately it really falls outside of the range of our product lineup as it stands currently. While we certainly do access control, apartment/community management is not part of our product line. You're looking for a sort of doorstation/intercom type of unit it sounds like. I wish I could give you more insight into how to accomplish your goals on this project but it's a little too far outside of the scope of the products we are currently selling to give you any researched or experienced recommendations.
Please feel free to ask us about other projects and anything CCTV related, we are more than happy to at least give you our opinion on the matter 😀

Thank you for your reply. I figured its not an access control solution and more like a door station control or some sort.
Will be great to participate in other projects with you guys.
