TRIDVR-ELE32 Users can't do PTZ unless they have system permission

I am trying to configure permissions on a new TRIDVR-ELE32. Users connecting via the web browser are not able to control camera PTZ, unless I also give them the 'system' permission in the accounts tab (in addition to the obvious PTZ and manual control permissions).  Changing the PTZ permission works as expected if you're sitting at the console though.  I need these remote users to be able to do the PTZ without also giving them the ability to change nearly anything in the DVR configuration?

Tech Support answered my email with a generic "check the permissions tab", but looks like a firmware bug, since the permissions work correctly if you're at the console, but not if your connecting via the web interface.

What's the current firmware for this unit? I'm hoping newer firmware will also resolve my problem where some older webcams can be viewed on the console, but are blank when viewed via the web interface.

Firmware requests must be sent to our support ticket or requested via the chat system.

I have started an investigation on this manner. For now please open a chat session and I can assist on a possible firmware upgrade if there is a new firmware version for your recorder.

Unfortunately the PTZ Controls and Admin Permissions are tied to the same permissions category.
