I have searched this site and the Dahua site and found short descriptions of the sensitivity setting, but no mention of the Threshold setting.  Does anyone know exactly how that one works?

I am trying to optimize my settings to get good sensitivity during the day, but minimize false positives at night.

This is for a tri dvr using both analog and CVI cameras.

Threshold works like that. Lets say that the 'Threshhold' setting is 5 seconds. It means that if the motion happens under 5 seconds, the DVR is not going to record it. It controls the minimum amount of time that is necessary for the DVR to start recording motion.
