I keep getting timed out message. As for compatible dvr, this should work since I bought from this site. The information I've entered in the device manager:

name: ...

address: 192.168.1.110:88

port: 37777

On youtube there's an option for how many cams but the version I'm using doesn't give that option. Anyhow, is there something else I need to do to view the cam remotely on my phone?

ps. I have already set up for device viewing internally through I.E.

Hi,

The setting address: 192.168.1.110:88

Needs the :88 removed as this is telling the app to look at port 88 and not the mobile/extra stream port 37777.

Thank you for the quick reply, the thought of removing :88 didn't cross my mind.

Well I am in the process of port forwarding but as usual this process comes with headaches as port checker is telling me my port is closed >->. I followed this video to portforward but no luck (). I will go home and check the dvr remotely to see but seeing how the port is not even open I doubt it. By the video if I entered my public ip:88 from a different network it should connect but it doesn't. Is there anything out of place, or am I missing something again? :[

My router model is Verizon MI424WR-GEN3I.
Port Forward Applied rules:
[enabled] 192.168.1.110 port TCP -> 88 UDP -> 88
[enabled] 192.168.1.110 port TCP -> 37777 UDP -> 37777
[enabled] 192.168.1.110 port TCP -> 37777 UDP -> 37777

192.168.1.110 is the DVR

Verizon provides a cell network. Unless you pay for a static IP or they allow you to port forward your recorder on their network you will not be able to do so.

Please contact Verizon as they are the ones blocking the traffic.

** NOTE: You may be able to use P2P, for configuration please contact one of our Techts at Option 3 (866) 573-8878

What I meant was that I am using Verizon router. Plus I even try DMZ the DVR internal IP but no luck on that front. However, I'll take your advice and contact your tech support.

192.168.1.110 is an internal address that does not go in your phone unless you want internal wifi access only.  canyouseeme.org will provide your external IP address.

Out tech support can set you up.
