I have the mini economy 8 channel DVR. The unit is currently suffering from a rebooting issue. Approx. every 5 minutes its rebooting.
I have pulled all of the connection from the back of the DVR as well as unplugged the HD with no result. The error I'm receiving is : Reboot with flag 0X01.

Hello,
have you tried a different power supply? a 12vdc 3amps should be sufficient

Mine was doing the same thing. I set my events back to default and the problem went away.

Tech support said to unplug the HDD and see if the problem went away but mine was rebooting in precise increments.

I did try a new 12v PS...didn't work and eventually it's stopped rebooting and just died. CRASHED...no power nothing.
i don't know if it's the motherboard or HD.....any suggestions?
Is the power supply that you recently tried 12v 3amps? Have you tried different electrical outlets and/or power strips to rule them out?

Yes I did.... Tried "2" different 12v 3amps power supply and 3 different outlets. Dead
Do you have an order number? Where did you buy that Hard Drive? The WD5000AAKS is an unsupported drive.

I actually purchased it from security camera King back in 2010. It's not under warranty anymore, I was just hoping I could salvage it with a new hard drive and use it as a backup for another '2 ' i currently have UP and running......which I also purchased from security camera King.

Hello Karyn, when trobleshooting a rebooting issue you should take the lid cover off the unit and check to see if the fans and board lights come on, if on or the other are no working then you may need to replace the fan or the board, I see you already tried unplugging al the inputs and outputs and your still rebooting so i would try checking the fans and board lights,
