I have a HYBDVR-FE016480-DH-160 32 channel hybrid dvr a little over 5 years old. Until recently it mostly had analog cameras on the first 15 channels. This year I have begun adding some ONVIF IP cameras. I have the recording set up for 24 hrs every day with the dvr overwriting older recordings with approximately 9-10 terabytes of hard drive space. It is not set for recording on motion detection only. On several of the IP cameras the dvr is being intermittent with the recording. When I look at the screen remotely (output to a monitor using HDMI cable), some times the little green box in the bottom corner will be on, showing it is recording, whereas a little while later it will be off. When I look to replay, there are obvious gaps in the timeline. It is still showing a live picture during all this. A few of them are IP PTZ cameras, and if I bump the camera in one direction or another a little bit, sometimes the green box will come back on. Most of these cameras are connected using 75-100 ft. shielded outdoor cat5e cables with POE, but there are no heavy RF signals nearby so not being shielded shouldn't be a factor for those that aren't. I have done a reboot several times on the dvr but still have the intermittent recording problem on several of them. Only the IP camera channels are doing this, the analog are always rock stable. Anyone have some ideas on why I can't get continuous record on some of these channels?
Seeing that the cameras are using the ONVIF protocol this could be the culprit. What are the models of the cameras?

They don't all have manufacturer names associated with them. One is a PTZ showing the model number as C6F0SgZ0N0P0L0. Another is IPG-7920PSS-AI and I think it is an Inwerang, though the sale info said "unbranded". Two others are IPG-7930PSS and IPG-7820PSS-S/W and were identified in the sale as Inwerang.
If you can provide me with the MAC address I can identify it.

Here are the macs: 00:FC:05:82:FE:38, 5A:58:21:54:18:E1, 5A:58:AA:41:64:4C, and 5A:58:EF:87:B6:AA. The first one is the one I have the most problem with. Almost daily it completely loses its connection to the DVR even though I can connect to the camera directly and see the picture. Other times the picture is still coming through but not recording. If I do a reboot on the camera, it shows back up on the DVR within a couple minutes as being recorded.

I looked for these MACs and they do not show any vendor, it seems like they are generic cameras. Normally the signs that you are seeing are in regards to the onvif protocol implementation, the cameras manufacturer should have the firmware to ensure that they are compatible, with the recorder that you have it should be Onvif version 2.3 or greater.
I found that the IPG-7930PSS was sold by anixter in the past, perhaps you can contact them to see new firmware for the camera. The other camera I could not find other than older listings online which did not show any type of support. Perhaps you could take advantage of our Used and or Recertified cameras if you are looking for compatible cameras at a discounted price. Please give our sales professional a call.
Seeing that the old Hybrid recorder is not connecting to these, this would be a better option.
