About 6 months ago I went to https://www.securitycameraking.....-downloads

and was able to download a player that both played dav files and exported to avi.

Today I went there and the player is missing?

I've found Smart Player through this forum and exported to avi, but the avi files don't play properly, they just show the starting frame of the video.

 

I tried the same thing with DVR 365 Dav player. It can play but the converted files are stuck on the first frame.

Both players play dav files OK.

You can use the DAV Monitor Software to Convert from DAV to AVI format.

Hi Jose,

 

Sadly that converter doesn't convert to avi properly either, it creates an avi file of the same length as the dav, but only has the first frame.
