I am trying to use the Web service from Internet Explorer 10.0.9200.16686 but it will not allow the ActiveX to be installed. IE will prompt me for an Admin userid and password. I correctly enter an admin userid/password but Windows indicates that it has blocked the software because it cannot verify publisher for Webrec.cab. Window indicates that it is an Unknown publisher. I then click on the OK button and IE starts the teal circle of death leaving me with no option other than to close the IE app.
My Web Service info..
- SN: PA3CA10401031
- System Version: 2.616.GV00.0, Build Date: 2013-04-10
I am using Windows 7 OS.
My DVR is the 8 channel Ultimate Mini Series D1 Realtime Security DVR
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Problem has been resolved.
I had to run IE with admin privileges in order to change the "Download unsigned ActiveX controls" from Disable to Enable. This allowed me to install Webrec.cab. After the ActiveX control was installed, I changed the status of "Download unsigned ActiveX controls" back to Disabled.
"Download unsigned ActiveX controls" option is found within the IE Security tab by clicking on the Custom Level button.
