Is there a firmware update for older LT16480MHD DVRs that came with the version 2.0 Web Service? This new version has some features that I would like to try out. Thanks.

I'd love to get this. Will my current DVR-LT8240MHD be able to be upgraded to this?

Unfortunately at the moment there is no Updated version of the firmware for the DVR you have. This is our New LT Mini Series that it has been introduced a few moth ago. Eventually all of our DVRs will have this interface to simplify things.

Thanks Jesus for the reply. I purchased my LT16480MHD only 3 months ago so it's not that old. For clarification, what DVRs come with this new interface?

Only the New LT Mini. If your DVR was a new one like the one we sell then the web service interface will look like the one on the video the moment you got it.

I think this new version is superb. In internet explorer it's perfect. However, I have trouble with it in chrome on two laptops thus far. Both of my laptops have quicktime, as many pc's have for other types of video work. When this version of web service opens in chrome, it cannot get video feed. I don't know if it would work in chrome on a pc without quicktime installed, so you'd have to try and see. But so far for me, this version of web service is only compatable with IE. In chrome, I can DL the version and I can log in and all, but no video feed. You should check on this on your end.

Btw- I have the new 8 channel ultimate mini, which is why I can hit this new version.

This version is natively to work best with Internet Explorer, in fact sometimes it will show in any other browser but is not by designed.
