How can I control pan speed? It's fast when going to pre-sets, but slow under normal panning.

DVR is Everfocus Exor 264

Thanks

Hello,

It will all depends of the camera you are using. There are cameras that you can control how they PAN from the DVR using the PTZ controller build in on the DVR. Our DVRs have a number you can choose from 1-8 to control how the camera PAN from in general. The preset speed will depend of the camera. There are cameras that have a fix speed and you can't change. Only the more expensive cameras will have this type of features.

Thank you!

Howdy,

I have a PTZ-LX700L12X camera and can set speeds from 1 through 8 using the Pan/Tilt/Zoom menu by entering a number from 1 to 8 in the box at the top of page 1 of 3, in the box just to the right of where it says Speed.

I do have a Security Camera King DVR, not sure if that makes a difference?

when you manually move the camera that affects the speed, but for programmed tours it does not.

I have several of these PTZs and they move a little slower than most PTZs. I use the speed adjustment that is below the controls both in the Web Service and in PSS.
