I have a 16 camera mini elite approx. 2yrs. old. It displays no cameras on the monitor or on the network. There is only one blue light lit on the front of the DVR, there is usually multiple lights lit. The ethernet light on the back is lit. While I was looking at it yesterday it initially was beeping which went away at some point. It did display cameras for alittle bit at one point then went blank again. Any ideas would be helpful.
Check HDMI/VGA cable connections, and/or replace with substitutes to test. Do you see a grid on the screen or nothing at all? If you see a grid but no cameras, there could be an issue with the cameras power supply. How are you powering your cameras? Have you opened the unit? Re-seat the Hard Drive Sata and Power cables. It is possible that a failed Hard Drive can cause erratic behavior. Perhaps boot the DVR with no Hard Drive cables attached to make sure that is not causing the issue. Can you get to the web service and see no cameras or the web service does not load at all?
