How to connect to a local display

Once power is applied you should go ahead and get your local display connected. For instructional purposes we used HDMI, however the steps are the same for a VGA connection.

You will want to have your HDMI connected to your TV/Monitor and make sure the display is set for the correct input. After that, you will want to plug the HDMI cable into the back of your DVR, and shortly after you have that you should begin to see an image on your screen.

It is considered best practice to get the HDMI cable plugged into the recorder while the recorder is shut down. After the HDMI is plugged in you can fire the unit back up.
